Terms of Service
Last updated: August 3, 2026
By using Mindhack.in, you're agreeing to the terms below. There's no sign-up wall to click through them, so read them here instead - we've kept it short and skipped the parts that don't actually apply to a free games site.
What Mindhack.in is
Mindhack.in is a free, browser-based collection of games and puzzles - Sudoku, 2048, a Rubik's Cube timer, Sliding Puzzle, and others. Every game runs in your browser with no download, no purchase, and no account required. We built it as an independent project, not a company product, and we run it the same way.
Accounts are optional
You can create an account with a username, email, and password if you want to. Right now it doesn't unlock anything you can't already do without one, but it's there for features we might add later, like saving progress across devices. Keep your password to yourself - you're responsible for anything that happens through your account, so tell us at support@mindhack.in if you think someone else has access to it.
Using the site fairly
Play the games however you like. What's not okay:
- Scraping, crawling, or hammering the site or its login system with automated requests.
- Trying to break, exploit, or reverse-engineer the games or the account system beyond normal curiosity.
- Using the contact form to send spam, phishing attempts, or anything abusive.
- Creating accounts to impersonate someone else or to abuse other users, if that ever becomes a feature.
If we see abuse like this, we can suspend or delete the account involved without much ceremony.
Ownership
The games, their design, and the Mindhack.in name and logo belong to us. You're welcome to play, screenshot, and share links to the site - you're not licensed to copy the games themselves, rip out their assets, or rebuild them elsewhere. Some images are served from a separate asset host we control (mindhack-in.github.io); that's still our content, just hosted separately for speed.
No warranty
The games are provided as-is. We built this ourselves and keep improving it, but we can't promise it's bug-free, always online, or compatible with every browser and device out there. If a game glitches or the site goes down for a bit, that's a bug report to support@mindhack.in, not a breach of contract.
Liability
To the extent the law allows it, we're not liable for indirect damages, lost data, or anything else that comes from using (or not being able to use) a free games site. If something we did causes you real, direct harm, our responsibility for it is limited to what's reasonable for a free, independently-run service - not a substitute for advice from a lawyer if you think you have a claim.
Other services we use
The contact form runs through Formspree, and we use Google Analytics to see which games people actually play. Neither of those changes what's written here, but our Privacy Policy covers what data they see.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after that means you're fine with the update; if you're not, the simplest option is to stop using the site and email us to delete any account you made.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. This is a personal, independently-run project rather than a registered company with in-house legal counsel, so treat this page as a good-faith, plain-language agreement rather than an exhaustively lawyered one.
